TARA the second goddess of the MAHA VIDYA is the Goddess of Compassion, Grace and Miracles. She is the gentle mother who leads us across the ocean of Maya to our salvation. She is the aspect of the Divine who comes and helps us in times of need, who heeds our innermost prayers, who protects us against the demons who want us to sway away from our path. She is the terrifying one who crushes the legions of Mara sent out to confuse, tempt and overwhelm us.
